There is a host of wonderful walking trails nearby, including many at Dalby Forest which is beautiful through all the seasons and has a tree top zip wire trail for the more adventurous. In less than a 20-minute drive you can be at the coast, walking along the long golden stretch of sand in Scarborough, with the historic seafaring town of Whitby nearby. Whitby boasts a fascinating history, with tales of Captain Cook, smugglers, Vikings and even Dracula, ideal for a day out to remember.
