For a traditional picnic lunch stop at the Cheese Factory or the Cider Farm nearby. Worth a visit is the Museum of Dartmoor Life Okehampton Castle & Finch Foundry. Upon entering the cottage you step into the hallway which has a door to the ground floor WC and leads you up a couple of steps to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is to the left and has comfy sofas a wood burner to snuggle up in front of and where you can watch your favourite program or film on the TV/DVD and listen to your playlists on the iPod dock. To the right takes you into the spacious kitchen/diner which is well-equipped with a gas range oven and hob Espresso/Capuccino maker microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washing machine and a dining area which comfortably seats four. At the end of the day climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find the two bedrooms the first of which is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with en-suite shower room with WC. Bedroom two is a king-size with en-suite shower room with WC. Please be advised the property will not accommodate children under 10 years old. Spa treatments are available in the cottage via a third party including hot stone massage Indian head massage and aromatherapy massage. Outside and to the front of the property is a beautiful sunken garden with a deep pond and at the back of the property there is a private enclosed garden decking with furniture and a charcoal BBQ with views over fields and Dartmoor. You will also find a dog washing trough and a tap to clean those muddy paws and the owners are happy to offer pet sitting (by arrangement). There is covered parking available for up to two medium sized cars. Need to know: 2 Bedrooms 1 super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request) and 1 king size. 2 En suite shower rooms and WC. 1 separate WC located downstairs.
