Close to the beach is St Helens Duver which was previously a golf course but is now owned by the National Trust. The Duver has a large car park and has views across to Bembridge Harbour and the RSPB conservation area. It is an ideal area for walking and outdoor games and Tactisle Watersports is located at the nearby marina. There is another cafe and a water taxi ferries passengers to Bembridge beach. Mackerel fishing trips operate from the harbour and there are two sailing clubs.
