Cwmiar is a working farm situated in it's own valley on a slope of Llanllwni Mountain in beautiful Carmarthenshire - the garden of Wales. The Old Water Mill is built of stone and dates back to the 17th Century, it has been lovingly converted into a four bedroomed cottage with special consideration for the disabled. It is wheelchair friendly with a twin bedroom, with wet room en-suite, on the same level as the kitchen and living room which are open-plan. The other bedrooms are on the lower ground floor (the mill is built on a slope) and each has a bathroom en-suite, with bath and shower over, toilet and hand-basin.
The cottage is ideally placed for horse-riding; walking; cycling (Brechfa forest is nearby and has world famous runs for cyclists of varying abilities and a guide can be arranged); bird-watching; sight-seeing; fishing; canoeing; there are also leisure parks and many beaches nearby.
