The living room is at the front of the property with a sofa and armchairs around the cosy wood burner. Enjoy home cooked meals together in the open plan kitchen with dining table perfect for two. Upstairs is the bedroom with a double bed and large double wardrobes for your belongings. The shower room has a large modern double shower, ideal for freshening up after a long day on the beach. It is a quaint little bay, with neighbouring Cattersty Sands just a short walk away. This is the perfect choice for those looking for a tranquil beach holiday away from the crowds. The village is mostly inhabited by locals, with a little café, a village shop as well as a fish n’ chip shop. For those who love the coast, there are some wonderful beaches nearby to discover, either on foot along the Cleveland Way, which is a walking trail along the cliff tops, or by car.
Saltburn is a surfers’ paradise, with an iconic pier and trendy bars and restaurants. Staithes has undeniable charm; this village huddles around the shoreline, with fishing boats sailing out from the harbour. Runswick Bay is gorgeous, with sweeping golden sand, perfect for a scenic stroll taking in the fresh sea breeze, and Whitby is just a 30-minute drive away. This seafaring town has a fascinating history, with the abbey overlooking the cobbled streets, independent shops and quirky cafés. The North York Moors National Park is also on the doorstep, with ancient forests, miles of heather-clad hills and valleys, and lovely villages and walking trails.
