Only 9 miles away from this Mid Wales cottage is Lake Vyrnwy, a renowned Nature Reserve and RSPB site, which provides long walks and bike trails. Visit Powis Castle and gardens, Pistyll Rhaeadr, the highest waterfall in Wales and Llanfair Caereinion, which is 7 miles away and is home to the famous steam railway and an excellent cafe. Also in the area is the market town of Machynlleth, the Tabernael Art Centre, the exciting Centre of Alternative Technology and all of the Snowdonia National Park, including the magnificent Mount Snowdon.
