Experience Ford and Etal (6 miles) with its castle, working corn mill, heavy horse centre, and Lady Waterford Hall. Around 7 miles to the south and known as the gateway to the Cheviots, lies the market town of Wooler. Golfers will be spoilt for choice staying here, with courses at Goswick, Bamburgh, Wooler, Berwick and Seahouses.

Savour the Northumberland air from the privacy of your generous garden, a real sun trap, with patio and lawned areas as well as the burn trickling through. Enjoy a drink under the parasol whilst watching the birds nesting in the walls, the trout rising in the burn or a squirrel leaping across into the woodland.
