Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring. There is a fenced river in the grounds, 100 yards away.. The Cow Shed is a lovely barn conversion, accessed via a rough track, nestled in the heart of the Crychan Forest, set between the Brecon Beacons and Cambrian mountains. This semi-detached property offers a relaxing retreat for those looking for a countywide getaway and some real peace and quiet.
There are plenty of sights to see and places of interest to explore in the area, alongside some great spots for cycling, walking, hiking, birdwatching and fishing. The Cow shed is situated on the owner’s small holding, where they keep chickens, sheep, pigs and geese which can be seen roaming the fields in front of the property.
The property comprises of an open plan living space with a lovely wood burner to keep you warm on those chilly nights. There is also a double sofa bed on the ground floor, a shower room and to the first floor is a galleried bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Bath robes are also provided. Outside there are shared grounds and a garden with a seating area, summerhouse, barbecue, Rayburn and a griddle (summerhouse available in summer only).
Stabling is also available at the property by prior arrangement, should you wish to bring your horses. Shop and restaurant 4¼ miles and pub 4¾ miles.
The Cow Shed can be booked together with The Hen House (ref UK13352) and The Pig Sty (ref UK13350) to accommodate up to 10 guests.
The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply.
