Cross over to Dartmouth via boat, train or car, where you can discover the historic delights of Dartmouth Museum, the 16th-century Bayard's Cove, and the 15th-century Dartmouth Castle. For a day at the beach, follow the South West Coast Path down to the Blue Flag Beach of Blackpool Sands, popular with families, where you can hire kayaks, bathe and paddle the shores.
