Why not visit Trebah gardens in Mawnan Smith, it is a sub-tropical paradise voted one of the finest 80 gardens in the country with a stunning coastal beach. Gyllyngvase is the most popular with its large sandy beach and clear sea, Lifeguards are on patrol between May and September, and you will find a variety of water sports available.
Adjacent is the beach café offering a selection of hot and cold refreshments and a choice of tasty snacks and lunches. There is also a beautiful garden and some amazing coastal walks, from here you can follow the footpath and admire the rugged views and wildlife on your way to Maenporth and Swanpool beach. Swanpool has an excellent water sports centre where you can hire a kayak, a dinghy or windsurfer.
The café offers a great selection of ice-cream and drinks and why not try your hand at the crazy gold course. For wildlife enthusiasts Swanpool Lake has over 100 species of bird! After all the excitement of the day it is lovely to come back and unwind in this cosy cottage. Beach 3 miles.
