The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is 15 minutes drive away as is Lincolnshire Aviation Centre at East Kirkby, the home of Just Jane, the WWII Lancaster bomber which still does regular taxi runs along the runway. There are very good walks and cycle routes straight from the door and in the evening dine alfresco style at home watching the deer roam through the trees, or head into Horncastle or nearby Kirkby on Bain for refreshment.
