This charming cottage is set in an enviable location on the edge of Gillamoor an attractive North York Moors village with the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole (2.5 miles) nearby. A few miles in the other direction is the pretty town of Kirkbymoorside (also 2.5 miles) and vibrant market towns like Pickering (10 miles) and Helmsley (8 miles) both with an abundance of good restaurants tearooms and independent shops. Beyond the village lies the glorious sight of the North York Moors with heather-covered hills ancient woodlands and beautiful rivers. The Yorkshire coast is about thirty miles away or you could head inland to Castle Howard (15 miles) or the North Riding Forest Park (17.5 miles). Entering this attractive cottage you will find a bright and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The generous and comfortable lounge features plenty of seating and a warming wood burner making this an ideal spot to curl up with a good book or watch a movie on the TV/DVD.
