There are several golden beaches along the coast, especially in the bustling town of Bude. Widemouth Bay is less than 20 miles away, where you’ll find surfing, coastal walks, and charming seaside cafés.
The market towns of Okehampton and Launceston, with their historic castles, are a short drive away. For those craving adventure, Dartmoor National Park offers vast moorlands, dramatic rock formations, and ancient relics to explore. In the other direction, Bodmin Moor and Jamaica Inn are not far away.
For those wanting larger towns, Bideford, Barnstable, Portsmouth, and Exeter are all within an hour’s drive.
