Also close by is Thor’s Cave (6 miles), Carsington Water reservoir (8 miles), perfect for birdwatching, water sports, walking and cycling around its eight-mile perimeter. Visit the Tissington and Manifold trails, a haven for walkers and cyclists (2 miles and 8 miles respectively), Chatsworth House and Gardens (18 miles) and the historic town of Bakewell (15 miles).
