Externally the property features a large driveway which can comfortably fit two vehicles, and electric charging facilities are also provided directly across from the Cottage and in the local village.

The Art festivals that are an intrinsic part of Fife, are also close to hand with the Pittenweem Art festivals within walking distance and the annual festivals at Crail and Anstruther a quick car journey away.
For golfers, there are an abundance of award-winning links courses dotted along the East Neuk (corner of Fife) coastline from Elie up to the home of golf at St Andrews only 12 miles away from St Monans.
Edinburgh and the new City of Dunfermline can be reached (Edin 1hr) by the new electric train link in Leven
