Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Comfortable bed, table and chairs to sit outside, very generous to leave beer, cider, chocolate and crisps.

Negative: Wifi unstable so tv kept buffering, VOD would not load and then gave up completely, heating taped off & no element in bathroom towel rad so bathroom a bit cold and used towels don’t dry. Chairs uncomfortable and room arranged so can only see tv from bed, moved bed and table to try to sit on chairs to watch a movie and very dirty under bed. No sink so washing up in basin. Enough space for better kitchen but space laid out all wrong. Burglar alarm went off for 20mins, sounder is in the room & is designed to be deafening so had to get dressed and sit in car till owner came home. He cracked a joke “we’re so poor they probably left us something” and we only got a “sorry about that” thrown over his shoulder as he jumped back in his taxi. The check in instruction is to “call their mobile”; who wants to bother doing that - why not send check in instructions instead of putting onus on guest. Curtains and blind are poorly fitting and let loads of light in so take an eye mask.
