The cottage is centrally located in between Bury St Edmunds, Diss and Thetford, you can easily access the wonderful Thetford forest, the Norfolk Broads and the famous heritage coastline. From your doorstep you can enjoy some wonderful walking with various village pubs close by and within a mile you can be at two pubs to refuel for the way home. A short drive will bring you to a number of attractions including Bressingham Steam museum, Banham Zoo, Africa Alive and Pleasurewood Hills for the more adventurous! The village of Rickinghall, alongside Botesdale is situated close to the Norfolk border offering excellent access to both Norfolk and Suffolk with good road links to Bury St Edmunds, Diss and Thetford. The villages are well stocked with three pubs, a local store and a selection of takeaways. This is a fantastic touring base and nearby Diss has narrow winding streets with secret little courtyards, and a high street offering an array of small shops and tea rooms. Walkers can explore the Boudica Way, a wonderful 40 mile walk from Diss to the medieval city of Norwich.
