Conwy is a large market town situated on the North coast of Wales, and near the River Conwy. Conwy has a number of historical buildings, including Conwy Castle and its town walls which were built in the 14th century and used as a form of protection, upon the order of Edward I of England. The county borough includes the towns of Llandudno and Deganwy, which are within driving distance and offer a range of local tourist sites.
