Goldsithney is a lovely Cornish village located inland from the shore, away from the madding crowds but still convenient to the region's many tourist attractions. St. Michael's Mount, a fortress on an offshore island, dominates the area and is only 2 miles distant, making it a must-visit when the tide is out and the causeway is accessible. Fabulous beaches, the coastal trail (which winds along the tops of the cliffs), and excellent sailing and fishing are all within easy reach. Penzance is a great starting point for visiting Cornwall because of its bohemian vibe and proximity to the wonderfully lovely fishing villages of Marazion and Mousehole.
