Positive: I stayed in this upstairs apartment (Unit 1) for 10-days while visiting my children. The house is located within walking distance to Reo Town. Also, centrally located to downtown and MSU. The neighborhood felt safe, which was important to me as a solo, female traveler. The neighbors are friendly. The home is extremely clean, well decorated, and stocked with the basics. The host did provide some snacks and bottled water. There is a water filter in the fridge. Be aware that the kitchen does not have any pantry staples besides salt and pepper, tea bags, coffee pods, sugar packs, and individual creamer. BUT there is a really nice gas stove. Just be prepared to bring in all ingredients needed for cooking. The host was quick to respond to questions and was easy to work with on check in and check out.

Negative: Some blackout drapes would be a nice addition for those of us that like to sleep in :)
