Camber Sands (4.5 miles) is perfect for relaxing in the surf or exploring the sand dunes. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (2.5 miles) is renowned for bird watching, and are three vineyards within ten miles with Bodiam Castle and Great Dixter House and Gardens worth a visit. The railway station is within walking distance.
