The Old Sir Walter Tyrrell House is a 4 bedroom detached property situated in the beautiful countryside of The New Forest National Park. Sensitively and sustainably saved from dereliction, it is now a luxurious place for friends and family to relax.
The main house sleeps 8 persons,if you are a group of 10 there is also an adjoining, totally self contained cottage,ideal for parents, grandparents, aupairs or anyone looking for a separate space for a further 2 persons (at a small additional cost)
The space
A Luxury hotel-style experience for holidays with friends or a relaxing family gathering.
The ground floor is open plan - a lounge area with cosy woodburning stove, two big sofa's and a loveseat, a dining area with a stunning large vintage dining table for 8 to 10 diners.
A fabulous, bespoke, well-equipped kitchen with large island, induction hob and 3 ovens which should satisfy even the most aspiring chefs!
There's a snug/TV area with modern smart TV (including Netflix), DVD player, and bluetooth speaker. A separate utility room with 2 dishwashers means you won't waste any time washing up. The house is perfect for socialising and spending quality time with your friends and family
Upstairs there is sleeping for 8 In 4 bedrooms plus a cot. The gorgeous dual aspect large master room has a superking-size sleigh bed and open forest views. This room has its own ensuite with bath and separate shower.
An equally lovely second double has a kingsize bed and a luxurious ensuite (large walk in shower).
Bedrooms 3 & 4 can be set up as either kingsize doubles (perfect for couples) or twins (ideal for the kids or groups of friends). These two rooms have use of a great family bathroom with bath and shower
Outside the property has a large south facing terrace with lounge and dining furniture, freestanding hammock, a Weber charcoal BBQ and a lawned garden all looking out over the open forest, where you will see ponies, donkeys, deer and cattle on a daily basis.
If you need to accommodate more people, We also have available a stylish self contained cottage, complete with kitchen Living Room, bedroom and bathroom all finished to the same high standard as the house.
Guest access
The Old Sir Walter Tyrrell House is a detached property with private off road parking for upto 6 cars. Guests can offload at the front door and then park on our private secure drive. Guests will have the use of the whole house which is laid out over two floors.
