Positive: This place is an absolute hidden gem—so underrated, and I’m beyond happy we found it and decided to book. We arrived on August 11 around 7:30 PM. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend arriving before sunset. From the main road, it’s about 800 meters on an unlit, off-road path—completely dark at night. But trust me, once you arrive, all the effort melts away. The peacefulness, the scenery, the whole atmosphere… it was even more than we expected. The caretakers were incredibly kind and welcoming. Although we didn’t share a common language, they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Translation apps helped us communicate, and the experience felt warm and genuine. They offer home-cooked breakfast and lunch (for an additional cost), which I highly recommend—especially since the location is a bit remote from the main tourist spots. Getting to Kaindy Lake took us around 30 minutes, and Kolsai Lake’s parking was about 45 minutes away. Despite the distance, we were glad to return to this peaceful retreat each evening. Our family stayed for two nights, and our kids absolutely fell in love with the place. Every morning, cows, horses, and sheep would roam freely nearby—it felt like a scene from a fairytale. There’s also a gentle stream within walking distance and several traditional yurts on the property. The view alone left us speechless. It’s hard to put into words how magical it felt to wake up surrounded by nature, mountains, and pure silence. We've stayed in luxury hotels before, but none have left us with the same memories or feelings as this stay did. It’s not just accommodation—it’s an experience. A place where you reconnect with nature, slow down, and feel grounded. We can’t wait to tell our loved ones about this special place. Truly one of the most unforgettable stays we've ever had. The people, the setting, the peace—it’s all beyond five stars.
