Spring Cottage, fully renovated for 2021, sleeps up to four in two bedrooms. Just a two minute stroll from the iconic Lulworth Cove, on England's only natural UNESCO World Heritage coastline, this thatched cottage is the perfect property for a special getaway. Immaculately furnished and finished, you'll wake to the sounds of birds singing and the echo of waves lapping on the beach. This cottage is pet-friendly; a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome and well provided for; you will find food and water bowls, a towel and poo bags for your dog(s). To help make the most of your stay, we have carefully curated a welcome folder full of information about the cottage, Lulworth and the surrounding area, and our experienced Holidays Team are always happy to offer recommendations for memorable dining or the best places to pick up local produce. For stays of three nights or more, you'll also find a welcome pack on arrival with delicious locally produced bread, eggs, milk, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee and sugar.
Layout:
The well-appointed family-size bathroom, on the first floor, has a shower over a bath and a heated towel rail. A comfortable cotton robe is also provided for each person, along with fluffy white towels, and Lulworth body wash, hand soap and shampoo.
The dining room has a spacious table for four besides a gorgeous inglenook feature. A fully-equipped kitchen is found to the rear of the property. The cottage features a convenient outdoor utility area equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The newly fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, pantry, 70/30 fridge-freezer, and gas oven and grill with 4 burner hob. There’s also a smaller breakfast table upon which you may enjoy your morning coffee.
The sitting room has a TV and DVD player, with a comfortable two-seater sofa and two armchairs, is arranged around the stunning inglenook fireplace with woodburner.
The master bedroom benefits from a king sized bed, goose down and microfibre pillows, and luxuriously crisp white Beaumont & Brown linen for your comfort. Snug, yet well equipped with bedside ledges and lamps, the master bedroom provides ample storage space, as well as a stunning new ensuite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom, across the landing, spaciously accommodates two single beds. Both bedrooms have lovely views over the spring and gardens.
The property’s lovely front garden, featuring a patio area with seating under the eaves, has established flowerbeds, mature shrubs and a grass lawn. We provide a table and chairs with a parasol for making the most of the afternoon sunshine beside the bubbling spring, perfect for relaxing after a hard day on the beach or water.
The pedestrianised street directly outside Spring Cottage leads through the village and its many restaurants, cafes, gift shops, The Doll’s House Confectionary Shop and ice cream kiosks, down to Lulworth Cove itself. At certain points of the day you may well have the beach entirely to yourselves, to watch the fishermen bring in their day’s catch.
The property has allocated, off-road parking for two vehicles in a privately accessed, gated driveway. Complimentary parking across the Lulworth Estate is included in your stay upon receipt of your car registration number, allowing you unlimited access to Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Lulworth Castle Park. For day trips further afield, there is a bus stop within West Lulworth village, with links to Poole, Weymouth and Swanage.
Central heating and good WiFi are included in your holiday. Phone signal may be limited so we have provided a landline for local calls.

Lulworth Castle, parklands and walks will be closed from Friday 17th July to Saturday 8th August 2026 inclusive.
Please be aware that due to its period features the staircase is quite steep and unsuitable for small children or those who are unsteady on their feet.
