Situated in stunning rural location, Horselea Holiday Cottages offer a relaxing experience in our 4* cottages. Our cottages were created from our farm buildings in 2010 and are situated on a working farm in the beautiful Strathearn Valley in Perthshire. We can accommodate up to 13 guests in our semi-detached properties allowing larger parties to holiday together. We are members of the Green Tourism Business Scheme with a Silver Award for our environmentally friendly cottages. Horselea Holiday Cottages can now offer our guests in The Granary exclusive use of our new environmentally friendly Wood Fired Hot Tub. Relax in the soothing waters, no nasty chemicals in our tub as it is made from Scottish Larch, grown by the manufacturer of our tub.
We are situated 10 minutes from Perth, 1 hour from Edinburgh and just over 1 hour to Glasgow. For the Golfers we are 20 minutes from Gleneagles, play the courses where The Open and Ryder Cup have been held, 1 hour takes you to St. Andrew or Carnoustie to play the Links Courses, or why not try some of the other 28 or so courses throughout Perthshire. Perthshire has all you require to make your holiday special, from our majestic mountains, to our lochs and rivers teaming with fish. Why not visit some of our historic castles, Scone Palace is a short drive (20 minutres), Blair Atholl around 1 hour, Glamis Castle again around 1 hour. We are centrally situated, only 5 minutes from the M90 and 10 minutes from the A9 so accessing all areas of Scotland is very easy from Horselea. Enjoy the quiet of the countryside, minimal traffic, clean air, good food and a very warm welcome.

First Floor: We have a large Lounge which has views to the South and West overlooking our farmland and the Ochil Hills. 2 comfortable sofas provide seating for 7 persons,

Our cottages are accessible for less mobile guests, wheelchair users can access the ground floor bedrooms with ease, and of course we are very family friendly providing all the little extras for the smallest member of the family.
Our cottages are very well equipped, there is an outdoor area to dry your washing, all electricity, linen and our large thick towels are included in the price. We are very proud of our Silver Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme and encourage our guests to be as environmentally friendly as they can, and we provide eco-friendly cleaning products and toiletries for your use. All the small and large items are provided to make your holiday an enjoyable experience. We have a large car park, a secure garden for the children or adults to play in - Football, Cricket, or just run around. For the more energetic there are lots of walks in the local area to suit all ages and abilities.
We use Ground Source Heating to provide lots of warmth and hot water, underfloor heating throughout and spacious bedrooms and sitting areas.
A private garden and free parking make our cottages suitable for all ages to enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside.
