Station Lodge South is being offered for holiday letting. Station Lodge was originally built in 1875 for the Nannerch Station Master. It was split in to 2 properties in the 1970's - and both were extended. We live right next door, in Station Lodge North.
Station Lodge South has been fully refurbished to an excellent standard and includes 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (including main bathroom with roll top bath), large kitchen / diner, laundry, large lounge, Hot Tub, car parking for 2-3 cars, large garden, patio & meadow. All areas of Station Lodge South are available for your exclusive use (with the exception of the garage - which we use for storage).
As the house is so large to turn around for our next guests, we have a 4 night minimum price / stay.
Station Lodge South is a 5 minute walk from the beautiful village of Nannerch (with pub, church & school) - based in the Clwydian Range (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Whether you love walking, adventure, shopping or just peace and quite, we have it all. We have multiple walks locally (and a little further afield in the Snowdonia National park. The seaside is 20 minutes away), Try gliding (15 minutes away), or White Water Rafting (at Bala) or Pony Trekking (multiple locations). Chester & Cheshire Oaks (for shopping) are 35 minutes drive, Liverpool is 50 minutes and Manchester 60 minutes. If you are travelling into the UK and want to visit London on your trip - it's 2 hours via Direct Train from Chester Station.
There are lovely restaurants near by and supermarkets in the historic market town of Mold (10 minutes drive) and Castle town of Denbigh (15 minutes drive).
** For your safety, the hot tub water is changed for every set of new guests. As a result, the Hot Tub will be available for use on the day after Check-In Day. In the event of a Hose Pipe Ban, please be aware that we will not be able to fill the Hot Tub **
** If you do bring a pet with you, we respectfully ask that they stay on the lower ground floor (where the kitchen / diner is). Children & pets will need to be supervised in the garden (the garden has gates / fences, but is not 'dog secure') **
** Please confirm how many guests will be visiting when you book. We have a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. We reserve the right to charge for any additional guests @ £50 p.p.p.n. from your security deposit **
