Originally a crabber's cottage dating back to the 1900's, Number Four is an extremely stylish, three-story end of terrace cottage, wonderfully located in the picturesque, coastal village of Overstrand. Only a few minutes' walk from Overstrand's beautiful sandy beach with cliff top café, a good village gastropub, and situated close to North Norfolk's stunning heritage coastline.
Thoughtfully curated for friends, a multi-generational family or even baby's first trip to the beach, Number Four's broad appeal makes it the ideal hideaway whether you are visiting for a long weekend, a short mid-week break or a one or two week holiday. On a summer trip, it will be impossible to pull yourself away from the lovely, sunny garden and outdoor entertaining space - everything about this house screams alfresco dining, fully-enclosed and secure enough for both children and dogs to play safely while the wine chills and the barbecue sizzles. In the colder months, hunker down with the dog in front of the cosy wood burning stove combined with underfloor heating (in the kitchen and boot room), plus there are cosy electric blankets on all the beds. There are three bedrooms, all with blackout blinds, curtains and comfortable beds boasting quality mattresses and toppers. With sleeping accommodation for five people, there is one super-king bedroom, which is a zip and link that can be converted into two 3ft single beds on request, one king-size bedroom, plus a further single bedroom. The lovely family bathroom on the first floor has a cast iron bath - wonderful for a long soak - and separate shower. Plus there is a further shower room on the second floor.
Number Four is a great cottage in great location, just a stone's throw from all the amenities the charming village of Overstrand has to offer including its sandy beach - perfect for children with ice-creams on tap from either the van or cliff-top cafe, plus there is a wonderful play park too. If you feel like a lazy, sun-soaked day you can simply pack a picnic full of local produce and walk to the beach for the day. Enjoy a can swim in the sea and let the dog run free. If you feel more energetic and love to explore, this beautiful area of the North Norfolk coast has so much to offer.
