Old Hay barn is a character, semi-detached cottage situated in the village of Hepworth, near to Holmfirth in the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage can sleep eight people in four bedrooms which are made up of two super king-size double which are zip/link and can be twin on request as well as adult bunks and a twin. There is a family bathroom as well as a separate shower room. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with dining area, dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside is off road parking for three cars and lawned gardens to the front with a side gravelled garden. Set in a stunning location, Old Hay Barn is a wonderful place to enjoy a great holiday at any time of the year. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome at property

Two well-behaved dogs welcome - must be kept on a lead at all times whilst directly outside the property due to farm animals.
Meet the alpacas (via prior arrangement with the owner). Sorry, no smoking. Shops 3 miles and pub 10 mins walk, farm shop 1 mile. Note: The twin room has very restricted headroom which is 5' 6" maximum and then immediately slopes due to being under the eaves (please see picture 20) care to be taken . The twin room is also accessed via one step. Note: Due to the layout of the twin room this cannot be made into a double bed. Note: Property does not allow hen/stag parties or similar.

The village has many traditions including the centuries old Hepworth Feast, which commemorates the end of the Great Plague in Hepworth and is held annually on the last Monday in June. Hepworth along with its nearby neighbour Holmfirth, will be remembered from the long running comedy series 'Last of the Summer Wine".
