Summary: Adequate for purpose- a bed for the night.
Evening reception staff was so quietly spoken it was difficult to understand her. Had to ask her to repeat information twice more clearly and loudly.
The flooring in the bathroom was very ‘spongy’ indicating there may be deteriation of structure underneath the floor.
There were some areas in the bedroom which were dusty/dirty, including teaspoons which obviously hadn’t been washed.
A shower would have been preferable to a bath.
There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, and when given a new roll at reception it was impossible to install it into the paper holder in the bathroom.

Summary: Clean room. Nice and quiet. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. The property is an ex-Premier Inn by looks of it. A little dated and the repair work in room 12 on the bathroom tiles are a bit messy/shabby. But overall a comfortable and pleasant stay. Would recommend and stay again.

Summary: Exactly what you would expect from a budget hotel. Comfortable enough, not dirty but not immaculate, not uncomfortable but not luxury. If you’re looking for a place to get your head down for a couple of nights, it’s fine. Don’t bring your wife here for a special occasion. The pub next door is decent, with reasonably priced food and drink.
