The space
The lounge is the original home of the village blacksmith with beams that date back to the 1730's. A stunning wood-burning stove is the central focal point, with a mix of traditional furniture and tasteful contemporary pieces. The rest of the space is bright and airy with all the benefits of a modern home, including a separate utility, beautiful gardens and high specification appliances. There is even a pizza oven outside! Carefully decorated with hints of color to add character and fun, the house is well appointed and should provide you with everything you need for a home from home.

There is parking on the drive for 2 cars.
This is a rural property, and as such, there are limited public services. However, there is a bus (360) that goes into Exeter up to 3 times a day and the stop is just outside the home. Exeter St David's is the closest train station and a taxi from there would likely cost around £20.
Other things to note
You are welcome to use the outdoor pizza oven and the enjoy the seating area. We do kindly ask that guests clean up after themselves and leave these facilities in a state that is suitable for the next people staying, as our cleaners will be unable to provide a full garden overhaul at each changeover.
