The space
I'm very excited to welcome guests to our cosy cottage which is located in private grounds. It's a very comfortable and wonderfully relaxing place for you to relax and unwind with friends & family alike. Stable Cottage, as the name suggests, is a sympathetic conversion of an old stable building. Now transformed into a spacious one level cottage which is decorated in a contemporary country style.
The cottage is on one level and sleeps up to 6 guests ( two double bedrooms with ensuite, one bedroom with two single beds). There is a family bathroom and an additional guest toilet. It's located a couple of minutes drive from Welford on Avon, 10 minutes to Stratford on Avon and 20 minutes to the Cotswolds and Warwick- a great rural base to explore from.
Ground Floor:
Entrance door leads into a large modern kitchen with breakfast bar, and is well kitted including a Range cooker with 2 ovens and an induction hob, fridge & freezer and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a microwave, kettle, toaster and Nespresso pod coffee machine.
Turn left into the utility room area where bedroom 3 (2 single beds) is, along with a guest toilet. The utility room is equipped with a sink, washing machine, clothes horse and an additional American style fridge freezer.
Turn right up one step from the kitchen into a spacious living area. There is a large sofa and an armchair and a dining table and chairs for 6 people. The fireplace with log burner and wooden mantle is the centerpiece of the room which also has a Smart TV. (You'll need to use your own log in details for Netflix and other applications, Sky TV is available).
The corridor from from the living area leads to bedroom 1 which is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, in here you'll find a 3 piece suite with shower over the bath tub .
Further along the corridor the family bathroom has a 3 piece suite with a walk in shower.
The next room is a dedicated work space with a desk and chair. Leading on from this is bedroom 2, which is a double bedroom with the benefit of an ensuite 3 piece suite with walk in shower.
Outside:
The cottage has its own enclosed private courtyard garden which is charmingly lit with festoon lights at night. Here you'll find a 6 person Hot Tub under a pergola (keep rain at bay!), a BBQ and an outdoor dining table and chairs.
Parking is available next to the property. There is space for several vehicles or vans, and space to reverse a trailer.
Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand wash. Separate spa towels are provided for the Hot Tub. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, a fire starter pack, toilet rolls and tea/coffee. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a convenience store a couple of minutes away.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the whole detached cottage and Hot Tub during their stay.
Other things to note
- The Hot Tub is outside and located next to the detached property.
However, Guests are reminded to keep noise to a minimum beyond 10pm.
- The property does not have a travel cot or high chair.
