Set in peaceful countryside, the Cowstall is 5-10 minutes away from Bruton
with its 'Notting Hill' vibe, many restaurants and the Hauser and Wirth art
gallery. Also 5-10 minutes away and providing beautiful views from the
garden, is Alfred's Tower, a local landmark that sits within the 6000 acre
National Trust Stourhead estate. The formal gardens and house are about a 10
minute drive away with the beautiful walks and views the estate provides
even closer. Also nearby is the Newt in Somerset a working estate with acres
of stunning gardens, woodland and cider orchards alongside several
restaurants. Further afield are Frome, Glastonbury and Bath but the peace
and tranquillity of the Cowstall setting is the key attraction with the
property surrounded by our own garden and acres of Somerset farmland.
The Cowstall has been completely refurbished to a high standard. The main
living area consists of a newly fitted kitchen with appliances (including
dish washer and washing machine). Adjoining the kitchen is a large dining
area which links to the main reception area where a smart TV provides the
opportunity to access your Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. accounts. A full
freeview service is available.There is ample comfortable seating for lazy
afternoons in front of a movie or for a glass of wine after supper. The
master bedroom opens directly onto the garden and has an ensuite bathroom
with both a large walk-in shower and bath. This bedroom can also be set-up
as two single beds if required. The second bedroom has the added attraction
of a wood-burner effect fire. Both bedrooms are large and peaceful with new
beds and high quality linen. The second bathroom has a shower and heated
towel rail. Luxury bath towels and robes are provided for both bathrooms.
