We were delighted to discover Villa Gregory, perfectly positioned on the water’s edge of one of Corfu’s most enchanting bays. Just a pebble’s throw from the childhood home of the Durrells, this much-loved villa has been cherished by the same family for more than forty years. In 2015, it underwent a full renovation, sensitively preserving its traditional Corfiot exterior while transforming the interior into a contemporary haven with high-spec finishes and exceptional comfort.
One of the villa’s greatest highlights is the covered veranda, stretching along half the seafront façade. This peaceful, shaded retreat is the ideal place to relax with a book, watch the yachts drift across the bay, and enjoy the gentle sound of the waves meeting the pebbles below.
Inside, the villa offers impressively spacious open-plan living, with a bright sitting room, dining area and modern kitchen at its heart. The house is thoughtfully divided into two wings for added privacy:
