Princess Mews is a stunning 3 Storey Town House in a residential area of York offering guests a comfortable and homely experience. Overlooking small woodland and a play area nearby but also minutes away from York centre by car/bus or a pleasant riverside walk.
An ideal base to explore beautiful York steeped in history and an abundance of cafes, bars and fine dining.
Driveway parking for 2 cars and on-street for a further 2 cars.
The property is perfect for family getaways, gatherings or a restful escape.

To the ground floor is a dining kitchen (table seats 6-8) and separate utility room along with bedroom 4 and separate wc.
To the first floor is a spacious lounge with 2 comfortable sofas and fold out footstool single bed. The lounge also boasts a wide screen smart tv and has been newly decorated in Jan 2022 (New pictures coming soon). Also to the first floor is bedroom 3 which contains a double bed and overlooks woodland to the front of the house.
The top floor houses the modern family bathroom with shower over bath, and bedroom 2 with twin beds.
Also to the top floor is the master bedroom with double bed and the added bonus of a newly fitted en-suite shower room.
Outside there is a driveway to the front of the house. And to the back a small garden with decking and patio area, with space to sit out in the summer. There are also double gates to the back garden allowing parking for a further car if required. There is on street parking available for another two cars.

We host families, business travellers, world travellers, extended families who want to reunite for a holiday in the beautiful city of York.
We don't host hen/stag parties, wild parties or noisy guests!
The building was built in 2006 so the walls are not as soundproofed as they could be. Noise at unreasonable hours could potentially bother the neighbours, especially those with young children and light sleepers, therefore we have made the decision not to host stag/hen/birthday parties etc.
The house sleeps 8 guests comfortably but up to 9 with the use of a metal action single fold out sofa bed to the lounge.
Full access to the property and garden. Driveway parking for 1-2 cars plus on street parking to the front and side of the house.
We live close to the property so we're on hand to provide any help you may have during your stay or provide any recommendations of places to eat etc.
Quiet cul de sac location just off the A59 road which leads to Harrogate. There is a lovely children's play area approximately 2 minutes walk from the house. There is a petrol station/convenience store less than five minutes walk from the property and the front of the house overlooks woodland! It's wonderful to wake up to the sound of birds tweeting in the morning!
30-40 minute walk to York city centre, 3 min walk to bus stop (number 5 or 10 bus takes 10 mins to centre of York).
Taxi to centre costs approximately £7.
York station is approximately 1.9 miles and Poppleton station just 1.5 miles away.
Easy access to York ring road and A59.
In order to be respectful to our amazing neighbours - STRICTLY NO HEN/STAG/WILD PARTIES ALLOWED.
One well behaved dog is allowed per stay, however an additional charge of £25 to be paid directly to cover the additional cleaning required on check out.
Late check out is available on a Sunday (5pm) for an additional £50. Please get in touch if you wish to book this.
Also please note there is only space to seat 8 people around the kitchen table.
