If it’s a bit of culture and history you’re after, there are a variety of National Trust places nearby including Oxburgh Hall (7 miles) featuring a medieval manor house and Victorian garden, or the much-loved country retreat of the royal family, Sandringham (24 miles). Don’t miss out on a day trip to visit the beautiful Norfolk coastline, Hunstanton beach is accessible to if you like driving. The market town of Bury St Edmunds (22 miles) is also worth a visit, with shops, a theatre, a cathedral, and the ruins of the Abbey of St Edmund in the stunning Abbey Gardens.
