Our lodge is also perfectly placed to explore the Lake District National Park, reached within a 30 min drive.

Our lovely lodge is a home away from home. Includes everything you should need. Keep the kids entertained with various board games and colouring. Both bedrooms are of a very good size. King size bed and two 3ft single beds (no banging into the wall when you try turn over in bed!).

You may bring your own boat, canoe, or kayak for an enjoyable time with family or friends. After you have taken advantage of the scenery and outdoor water adventures, you can then stop by the on-site family friendly restaurant, or grab a drink at the bar while enjoying the music. South Lakeland Leisure Village has its own lake which is free to use if you are a lodge owner or holiday guest staying on the park. The lake is home to a selection of fish which include wild trout, perch, bream, carp and pike. Fish can range up to 30lb.
There is fishing available for our owners and also holiday guests our new development Borwick Lakes.
Day permits can be purchased from the South Lakeland Leisure Village reception and are priced as follows:
£6.00 for one rod
£8.50 for two rods
Borwick Lakes is an open fishery consisting of four interconnecting lakes holding an excellent head of mixed coarse fish. A selection of pegs are available around the lakes offering secluded, peaceful bases away from interruptions and noise pollution.
The fishery offers stocks of specimen carp (30lbs+), chub, tench, roach, silver fish, crucian, perch, bream, skimmers and more ....
