It's location is great for all types of outdoor activities from enjoying the magnificent natural environment -the seaside at Barmouth is about half an hour away- to more strenuous walking, sailing, canoeing, angling, golfing,4x4 and rallying plus the Bala Lake steam railway has it's main station in the village. In the summer don't miss Llanuwchllyn village show ! The excellent Eagles pub is right next door serving real ales and traditional Welsh fare with their own farm produced meat. Conveniently during the day it's the village newsagent and shop. Sightseeing by car or bike is superb with quiet,open roads over the hills in all directions, including the highest pass in Wales, Bwlch y Groes.
