6 Bedroom Cabin in Carbon Hill, Lancaster
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene cabin on 9 acres. There are currently 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and one half bath. Outdoor amenities include a large wrap around deck overlooking the forest, grill, fire circle, and NEW HOT TUB! Enjoy hiking to waterfalls and caves, ziplining, kayaking or canoeing, golfing and other outdoor activities in an easy 10-30 min driving distance.
Enjoy a large and open living room space connected to a spacious kitchen. The kitchen table seats 10 comfortably. There is additional table space for four children and seating for 6 more adults at the kitchen counter area.
Chefs will enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with ceramic dishes, silverware, ceramic mugs and cups. There are cooking utensils, pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking sheets, pretty much everything you need for to cook most meals. There is a drip coffee maker, blender, rice cooker, and a crock pot. A grill is available on the deck, please keep it covered when not using.
The lower level provides extra space with two game rooms offering ping pong, air hockey and foosball. There are plenty of board games to play when the weather keeps you indoors. A new hot tub installed 2022 is located just outside the game room with the ping pong table and available all year long.
If you have a family member with decreased mobility, Solace has two first floor bedrooms. Bedroom 1 on the first floor bedrooms is an accessible suite that features a queen size bed and a twin medical bed with an attached fully accessible bathroom with a 5' by 5' barrier-free shower entry. There is a generic shower chair available, but please feel free to bring/use your own for maximum safety/comfort. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and small table. There is a full bathroom with a shower and tub on the first floor accessible from the living room as well as a half bathroom by the kitchen.
The second floor had three bedrooms and one bathroom with a claw tub made for relaxing soaks. Note, there is not currently a shower in this bathroom. There is a hand held spray handle.
Although the property is 9 acres, the cabin does sit fairly close to the road, though there are trees between the house and the road for privacy.
Note: There is a ring doorbell and two security cameras including one overlooking the hot tub. The cameras are NOT monitored but video is recorded and reviewed as needed.
