Tiny House elevated! Stay in our 9x9 historic 170+ old summer kitchen renovated with the coolest of touches. Snuggle into the boho style loft, taking in the sunsets or avoid climbing the loft ladder and instead fall fast asleep downstairs in the cozy, adobe like surroundings. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tea and smart TV for a late-night movie round out the lower level of this Tiny House. After your invigorating hike or romantic day at the wineries, settle into this cute little stay!
This is a seriously fun space for couples, BUT don't be scared off if you have a family of 3/4 or a couple of friends - this unique Tiny House is the place to stay! The Tiny 9x9 Stonehouse has its own private entrance and is located right next to the main farm house as all summer kitchens were. We renovated the cutstone, marble structure into a sexy, sleek bohemian style stay with some modern conveniences. Outside you have your own fire pit, mini charcoal grill (grilling utensils supplied, but not the charcoal), grassy area, chairs and a deck to enjoy the scenery.
Inside, you are surrounded by original wood & white adobe style walls and have a couple of choices on where to sleep during your stay. Loft sleeping on your 14" thick queen size mattress OR for those less inclined or unable to climb the ladder up to the loft, the queen-sized European style slide-out sofa bed is ready for your slumber. Bask in the constant natural sunlight and enjoy those starry nights out the window in the loft or close it out with our automated blackout shade. With no running water inside this historic structure, your outdoor bathroom awaits - modern outdoor porta potty and super cool outdoor shower, with warm water! is only steps away from your door (During winter months from mid-October to mid-April the shower is not operational due to the need for winterization, but the porta potty bathroom is able to stay open year-round).
The Tiny Stone House does include a camping style foot pump sink and wash basin for simple daily hygiene needs year-round (this water is not potable but potable drinking water is supplied in the mini-fridge). You have a small table for remote work or learning needs and lots of peace & quiet inside the thick, thick walls!
Truly a once in a lifetime stay and as far as we are aware, the only pre-civil war summer kitchen that you are able to rent in the WORLD!
