Summary: Easy check in with the self serve function. Room easy to find. Felt like the building was quite tired. A fair few little maintenance niggles. Squeaky doors, handles missing from wardrobe etc. Breakfast wasn’t a continental breakfast, was quite poor in options really. Ended up having to have breakfast out. The bed was comfy one side and then the other side was lumpy. The pillows AWFUL! I understand it’s on a main road but it sounded like loads of gaps in the windows as it felt like you was on the road. Couldn’t control the heating in the room. Central heating on all night/day. I understand it wasn’t on the expensive side of hotel/guest room. But something like a comfy pillow and bed is bare minimum you expect.
