Welcome to The Cottage at Gildridge, a pet friendly two-bedroom cozy cottage located on a 6.35-acre gated estate located in a wonderful rural position, yet within close proximity to local amenities. During your stay you will be surrounded by beautiful mature landscaped gardens that include paved terraces, formal gardens, lawned areas and shared tennis court for your use including a private hot tub as well a play area for children. EV Charger available as well. Pets welcome. The Cottage at Gildridge includes a sitting/dining room with sliding doors opening to the outdoor area. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, cloakroom and two first floor bedrooms (one with en suite bathroom). Extra beds fold up beds available upon request. The cottage has a small private fenced garden with a hot tub which is available for an extra charge and a picnic table. There is also an area of circa 3.5 acres of lawns that is shared with another cottage. Always available by phone, email and in person when on site. Set in the middle of the beautiful Sussex Countryside. A property on a small gated estate. We recommend you have your own transport as this property is in the countryside but within a short drive to Brighton, Eastbourne and plentiful local attractions and countryside walks. Some very good pubs that do exceptional food. *Chiddingly 1.75 miles, Lewes 8 miles, Eastbourne 12 miles, Brighton & Hove 15 miles, London 49 miles from the property. *The historic county town of Lewes is some 8 miles from the property and offers a comprehensive range of shops and amenities, together with a mainline train service to London (London Bridge/Victoria about 64 minutes). The coastal, business and entertainment centres of Eastbourne and Brighton & Hove are both about 12 and 15 miles respectively. *Pet Friendly (up to 2 pets free of charge per stay). *Hot tub has a 2-night min and must be requested prior to your stay in addition there is a charge of £40 a night so £80 total for the 2-night min. *Tennis court is free to use/you would need to bring your own equipment. Tennis court is shared with the two other properties. *Property features an area for the children to play and is shared with the two other properties. * Home offers an EV Charger and is a contactless payment and is located in the parking area behind white cottage. *Coffee is supplied along with cream and sugar for each stay. *We will send the code to open the front gate prior to check in. *The Cottage at Gildridge features a Washer and Dryer for your stay. *We have one additional cottage that sleeps (6) and one large main house which can sleep up to 20 located on the property as well that are available to be rented.
