Only a mile and a half away from us is the village of Baslow, which has shops, bars, and restaurants, and Bakewell, the Peak District capital and home to the famed Bakewell pudding, has even more services. The old village of Eyam, with its pubs, cafes, and artisan centre, is just a short drive away, making a day out in the parish of Curbar accessible to everyone.
