Watermill Cottage (E4908) is set out over one level and holds an idyllic riverside setting, with extensive countryside views from its private and peaceful patio area. Swallow Barn (ref UK37055) has a wonderfully unique design with a mezzanine bedroom, heavily beamed interior and sociable open plan layout. Both have been stylishly furnished with modern country décor and have everything needed for a warm and comfortable stay.
The surrounding Cheshire countryside means lovely walks are available direct from the door, and a traditional food serving pub is just 1 mile down the road. Boasting 40 flavours of ice-cream is ’The Ice Cream Farm’ which is a mere 5-minute drive, and Beeston Castle can be reached in around 10 minutes. The village of Huxley is just 8 miles from the wonderful historical city of Chester, where you’ll find the most complete city walls, the oldest racecourse and the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain. Delamere Forest, Carden Park and Oulton Park Circuit are all around a 20-minute drive and the city of Liverpool and Albert Docks can be reached in under an hour. Finally, for a change of scenery, the North Wales coast is around an hour’s drive. These properties (refs UK37055 and E4908) can be booked together to accommodate up to 6 guests.
