Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good location for Ulverston, but see below re noise - probably unavoidable. Very comfy bed / sofa, kitchenette worked well. Good shower over a bath Very good sized fridge/ freezer Iron / ironing board available, good wardrobe cupboard and lots of drawers Good oven / stove top and 4 pans with additional huge pan. Toaster needs to be uphifher than expected which means you don't burn your toast. No roasting tin tho could probably use base of grill pan. 2 oven trays, 2 chopping boards, grater etc all working and clean Welcome box with lots of instant coffee/ teabags / sugar but only 2 mini pots of milk ie enough for 1 drink, just bring milk with you. Good wifi for my purposes - I wasn't trying to stream anything so not sure how well it does that Good info booklet albeit needs a little bit of updating re cafes Nearest restaurant is an Italian- their back kitchen door opens very nearby so the smell of garlic bread is appetite stimulating!

Negative: Location a bit noisy as ground floor onto a alleyway with a pub on other side - live music on Fri night (mostly in tune...) - maybe not for light / early sleepers. You could also hear the conversations from folk walking by - tho not too bad as Ulverston is a relatively small town / not too many passersby. Presumably they could potentially hear conversations from within the apartment as well. These are the reasons I didn't score it higher though I would consider staying again. Would also suggest: replace bathroom cabinet at some point - starting to rust Needs a sieve - Rice doesn't stay in a colander as well Needs a draining mat or drip catcher under the drainer - annoying to have to keep wiping the worktop.

Summary: Very good for the price, not for light sleepers on a Fri pm
