For a coastal adventure, head to the seaside town of Southwold with its sandy beach, pier, independent shops and pubs or Kessingland Beach which is popular with wild swimmers and windsurfers, both less than 24 miles away. Visit a vineyard or play a round of golf (both 5 miles) or, in Chedgrave (8 miles), hire a cruiser to float along the waters of the Norfolk Broads.
