Nestled within the picturesque Kent countryside, this 3 bedroom single-storey property is surrounded by 22 acres of private parkland and pasture which the owners are happy for guests to explore. The cottage is in a peaceful spot, yet only 2.4 miles from Marden village with local shops and traditional pubs, and main line railway station. The local pub, the West End Tavern, is 1.5 miles on foot. Winery Herbert Hall (1.7 miles) and Balfour Winery (3.5 miles) are close by. Further afield are Scotney Castle (8 miles), Sissinghurst Castle Gardens (10 miles), and Leeds Castle (13 miles). For adventurous family days out, Bedgebury Forest and Bewl Water offer climbing, cycling, mountain biking, play trails and more, whilst everyone is bound to enjoy the Tenterden to Bodiam Steam Railway. The medieval town of Rye is 25 miles away with Camber Sands just 3 miles further along the coast.

The main living area consists of an open plan modern kitchen, with dining area and cosy sitting room. The drawing room adjoins this area via sliding doors and has been comfortably furnished and styled with a large sofa, a chaise longue and an armchair arranged around the wood burning stove and Smart TV. The well-appointed kitchen has all the appliances required for preparing everything from simple breakfasts to cooking celebratory dinners while the dining area provides a relaxed setting for sharing meals with an oval table with soft corner seating and chairs.
