Chapman’s Pool, 2 miles, an unspoilt cove with lots of fossils, is an excellent spot for a wild swim. Sandy Swanage Beach, a great place for swimming, sunbathing or water sports, is just 4 miles away, while Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are 16 miles. Birdwatchers may enjoy a visit to RSPB at Arne for a chance to see the largest bird in the UK, the white-tailed sea eagle.
