Whilst offering all the benefits of a countryside retreat, The Gallops is also conveniently located for much more. Llancarfan, the local village is about 1½ miles away and has a popular country pub serving home-made food year round .
For amenities, Cowbridge is just a 10-minute drive away and the market town has everything you need, from pubs, restaurants and cafés, to a variety of local independent boutiques as well as familiar named shops and coffee shops. Barry & Barry Island is another popular spot to visit just 15 minutes away, great for a family day out or quintessential seaside day out – there’s a funfair, pavilion, and plenty of choice for fish and chips surrounding the popular beach as well as a range of shops, restaurants and bars in the town centre.
The Vale of Glamorgan is also popular for its heritage, with lots of historic sites including castles and ancient churches as well as the heritage coastline.
