Summary: What a fabulous place to stay! Poggiacolle is absolutely beautiful, you can see San Gimignano from the bedroom windows or from the pool and breakfast room but the views of the surrounding area are just as lovely and everything you could need is readily available. But it’s more than views and facilities, it’s also the people that make a place and the people at Poggiacolle are really great and so welcoming. Daniella is so helpful and Stefano is outstanding, he is knowledgeable both about the area and his farm and will answer every question you throw at him (which were many as we were watching him bringing in the seasons grapes), while Margarita and her family, who are always there, keep everything running smoothly in the background. There are three generations of her family (her, her mum and her grand parents) all helping out to make your stay perfect in every aspect. We had a wonderful week using the farm as a base to see much of Tuscany and would happily return. 10/10 would recommend.
