Llandudno is easy to reach by car, where you can take the cable car or the Tramway to the summit of the Great Orme, and maybe enjoy a picnic at the top whilst admiring the superb views which stretch for miles. Colwyn Bay with its sandy beaches and Eirias Stadium for exciting concerts and sporting events, is also just a short drive away, or you may prefer to take a bus instead, as this property has the added benefit of being positioned on a local bus route. Slightly further afield is the town of Conwy, a designated World Heritage Site dominated by a splendid castle completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls and is well-worth a visit. Hafan Y Mor (or Haven on the Sea) offers a fantastic destination from which to enjoy the beautiful North Wales Coast and surrounding area at any time of the year.
Rhos-on-Sea, a town on the North Wales coast, is four miles from Victorian Llandudno and 18 miles from popular inland destination Betws-y-Coed. Rhos-on-Sea has an attractive harbour and a relaxed air, and is sandwiched between two bays; Penrhyn and Colwyn. The town offers shops, pubs and restaurants, and the area is full of opportunities for walking, fishing, sailing, watersports and golf.
